About:

Niemann-Pick Type C disease is a degenerative neurological disease that accumulates large amounts of cholesterol and other excess fats in the cells of the liver, brain, spleen, and bone marrow causing progressive deterioration of the nervous system. It usually starts to affect children of school age (4-7 years old) by interfering with their ability to metabolize cholesterol until it claims their life.

With only 500 cases diagnosed worldwide EVER and less than 75 currently in the US, the Stults family felt motivated to help fight NPC with the diagnoses of NPC with their two oldest sons Brisan and Parker.
